About Mbarara Hawkers Sacco
Mbarara Hawkers Sacco (MHS)
Mbarara Hawkers Sacco limited (MHSL) started as a group called Mbarara Tax park hawkers group on 13th August 2013.
It’s a brainchild of Mr. Muhereza Amon as vision bearer who shared his vision with Mr. Tugume Dickson and then introduced it to other members who welcomed the idea and put into action.
In 2016, with the consent of all members, the scheme/ Association was transformed as a SACCO and obtained its registration number 11280/RCS on 3rd March 2016 by registrar of cooperative
The Sacco is a member owned, member financed and member used institution
Legal Status
The Sacco is a registered cooperative and savings society limited. It offers services of a micro finance institution.
